Mauser M48/52

TVG has produced this replica of the M48/52 Sniper Rifle, which was Yugoslavia's first communist state built Sniper Rifle.

The rifle has been built on a Yugoslavian M48 Mauser and fitted with replica soviet PU scope and mount. The original Yugoslav PU scope is no longer available and therefore the Russian PU mount has to be modified to fit.

We select a rifle with a good barrel, strip and test fire to ensure reasonable accuracy. The rifle is degreased, polished and rebuilt. The stock is completely restored has to be relieved to allow the scope base to be aligned with the bore and fitted. To maximise the M48/52’s performance the action is bedded and the trigger tuned. Once completed, the rifle is accuracy tested to ensure the rifle is capable of an improved group at 100yrds.
